1 | Boil the cabbage whole, long enough to soften the leaves. Drain and allow to cool. |
2 | Cook the pork with the apple and garlic until done. Set aside. |
3 | Mix the tomato juice, vinegar and Splenda; set aside. |
4 | Add the egg and rice to the pork mixture and combine. |
5 | Cut out the cabbage stem and separate 10 leaves. Use the remaining cabbage leaves to line a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. |
6 | Stuff and roll each cabbage leaf with the pork mixture. |
7 | Cover the cabbage rolls with the tomato juice and add enough water to cover. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes or until tender. |
8 | Yield: 5 servings. 1 serving = 2 cabbage rolls. |
