This hot sandwich is great for feeding party-goers. Serve with green salad or fresh cut vegetables.

1 | In a heavy sauce pan, brown beef until it is thoroughly cooked (no longer pink) and drain well. Take beef out of the pan and set aside. |
2 | In same sauce pan, sauté onion and mushrooms with garlic and pepper. |
3 | Stir in drained meat and spaghetti sauce. Heat until bubbly. |
4 | Spread meat mixture over both halves of French bread and top with cheese. |
5 | Broil until cheese is melted. Slice and serve. |
6 | *To lower sodium, use low-sodium pasta sauce and fresh mushrooms. |
7 | ENJOY! |
